Best Sledding Spots

on January 16, 2013

SleddingWith winter fully upon us and the snow falling where are the best spots for sledding?

Wheelock Park – The back side of Wheelock Park by the camp area headed out to the sand pits has some great hills for your older sledders. Often older kids will build jumps to add to the natural slope.

Robinhood Park – Park down at the pavilion. Great sledding on the hill by the playground.

Fuller School In the back of the playground is a sledding hill.

Horse Hill – When asking people about where to go sledding Horse Hill is often suggested. Here’s how to find this sledding spot: Follow Route 101 through Marlboro, take a left onto Roxbury Rd and and another left onto Richardson Road. Look for signs for camp Glenbrook.

Easy-Snowman-MarshmallowsTop off a day of sledding with some Polar Express Hot Chocolate and make your own Snowman marshmellows.
